we offer THREE levels of boiler servicing to meet your needs

£60 BASIC BOILER SERVICE (SAFETY CHECK)

This service is effectively a safety check on the boiler, we do not complete any preventative maintenance tasks on the boiler. It is in effect making sure the boiler is running correctly and there are no water or gas leaks. A basic boiler service will take no more than 45 minutes.

£80 STANDARD BOILER SERVICE

A STANDARD BOILER SERVICE will take up to one hour. It is a yearly check-up of the condition, health and state of your boiler. It is to ensure it is performing at optimum levels and makes sure it is functioning correctly. The standard service will ensure that the minimum requirements of your boiler manufacturer warranty are met.

A STANDARD boiler service includes the following:

a visual check of the boiler and it's internal components
checks on the flue (internally and externally)
checking the gas pressure and/or heat input
checking safety devices
checking seals
checking and cleaning the condensate trap
taking a reading with a flue gas analyser to check the boiler is running safely and efficiently
a service certificate showing what has been done

£100 FULL STRIP DOWN SERVICE

This is our premium service. On this service we complete everything from the standard service but we also clean out the burner and the heat exchanger to help improve the efficiency of the boiler. (please be aware that there may be an additional charge for gaskets/seals depending on the make and model of boiler).

What level of servicing does my boiler require?

Some boiler manufacturers i.e. Worcester, Vaillant, Glow Worm usually only require a full strip down service every 5 years. Therefore, your boiler may only need a standard service for the first 4 years.

If your boiler hasn't been serviced for a few years or you don't know when it was last serviced then I recommend a full strip down service. If this level of servicing is required then it could take up to 2 hours and require replacement parts such as gaskets and electrodes. Get in touch and I will advise on any additional costs.

REMEMBER

The level of servicing is dependent on the MAKE, MODEL, AGE AND SERVICE HISTORY OF THE BOILER.

SYSTEM HEALTH CHECK INCLUDED WITH FULL STRIP DOWN SERVICE

The majority of boiler breakdowns and leaks are caused by poor central heating water quality.

Your boiler manufacturer can refuse to repair your boiler under warranty if your central heating water does not meet the minimum requirements.

Adey ProCheck tests the water quality and level of inhibitor present in your central heating system.

Following a full strip down service you will receive an emailed test report outlining the health of your central heating water and any recommendations.
